Brief Submitted as Part of Consultations on Bill 7

On November 25, 2025, Héma-Québec submitted a brief to the National Assembly’s Committee on Public Finance as part of the special consultations on Bill 7, An Act to reduce bureaucracy, increase state efficiency and reinforce the accountability of senior public servants, which assigned to Héma-Québec the responsibility for coordinating the organ donation and transplantation process—duties that had previously been carried out by Transplant Québec.
