Autologous stem cell cryopreservation service

The stem cell laboratory is responsible for the processing, cryopreservation, and distribution of autologous peripheral stem cells.

Accreditations and regulations

  • FACT-JACIE: Héma-Québec’s stem cell laboratory holds FACT-JACIE accreditation (International Standards for Hematopoietic Cellular Therapy Product Collection, Processing and Administration) from the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy.
  • Health Canada/CSA: Héma-Québec complies with Health Canada’s Safety of Human Cells, Tissues and Organs for Transplantation Regulations, as well as the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standards Z900.1-22 and Z900.2.5-22.
